Randall’s Island in New York has been totally transformed into an enchanting land of mythical creatures and festive lights displays thanks to the first annual LuminoCity Festival.

The month-long holiday event is a celebration of the holidays as well as arts and culture.
LuminoCity Festival / Facebook The display features three different sections: a wild adventure, the sweet dream, and a winter fantasy. Each resembles the traditional Chinese lantern festivals that the founder of the event, Xiaoyi Chen, remembers attending as a child.
In addition to the lights displays, visitors will enjoy other festive activities such as lantern and bracelet crafts, the holiday market, live music, and plenty of sweet treats to enjoy along the way.
