When it comes to holiday displays, you won’t find another like Lewis Lights. A favorite for decades, the dazzling display includes thousands of twinkling lights. But that’s not all. There are also hundreds of handmade pieces, making the display completely unique. Take a look:

Held for the first time in 1989, Lewis Lights is heading into its 30th year.

Though it’s remained a favorite throughout the decades, the display has changed a great deal since its first year.

What started off with just a few pieces of wood work and minimal lights has grown into an incredible display that has attracted thousands over the years.

But the number of visitors is nothing in comparison to the number of lights – there are over 225,000!

And while the glowing lights add a magical touch, it’s the handmade woodwork that really makes the display.

Among the 300 pieces of wood creations, you’ll see lots of festive characters but that’s not all.

You’ll also see lots of familiar faces from movies and TV shows.

The holiday display encompasses 2.5 acres, which is designed to be walked through.

The good thing about the walking layout is that it gives you plenty of time to stop and admire the festive set-up. It also gives you time to take pictures with your favorite characters.

But there’s more to Lewis Lights than the glowing display. Either before or after walking through the display, you can peruse a pop-up gift shop, where you’ll find handmade ornaments and décor and hot chocolate.
