One of the carnival’s events that often see the most attention is the Car Races on the Ice.

The frozen-over Lake George turns into the perfect winter racetrack, with Car Races from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on February 8, 9, 15, 22, and 23. While on February 16 you can watch Motorcycle and ATV Races out on the ice!

It’s not just out on the ice where you’ll find things happening though, the whole village of Lake George gets into the swing of things for this annual carnival.

In town, you’ll find horse-drawn carriage rides, pony rides, dog talent contests, snowman building contests, games of cornhole, polar plunges…
