Kites are a classic American pastime, and, contrary to popular belief, they aren’t just for kids. If you’ve never had the opportunity to witness a sky full of vibrant colors and unique designs, that’s truly a shame. Luckily, Hermann Park Conservancy is hosting its seventh annual kite festival in just a few months, so families can have the experience of a lifetime.

This coming spring, kites of all shapes, sizes, and colors will take to the Houston skies for the seventh year in a row. Children and adults can partake in the event, making memories sure to last a lifetime.
