Nebraska-brewed beer has enjoyed a whole lot of growth and attention in the past decade or two. There are plenty of hometown brews that we think beat out the big names, no question. One of our very favorite Nebraska breweries is Kinkaider Brewing Company, located just outside of Broken Bow on a picturesque farm.
Out here in the sandhills of Custer County, this plucky little farm brewery was started by four Nebraska natives who saw the potential for the area’s crops in the brewing industry.

They created their own brews from home for a while and discovered that they tasted better than most of the commercially-available beers out there.

They joined forces to form Kinkaider Brewing Company, a name that pays homage to the history of this land.

Sample them one glass at a time, or order a flight and try a whole bunch of varieties. Allow plenty of time to try them all, though; they rotate seasonally and every single variety is worth a try.

Not long after the brewery opened just outside of Broken Bow, the Tap Room followed. This gorgeous space right on the farm features a full menu and plenty of room for gathering with friends and enjoying your favorite beers.
