Though the restaurant itself only opened in 2005, they got their start when the idea hit them to make their own barbecue after supplying wood to other neighborhood BBQ spots since 1913.

There’s also plenty of sides available, from homemade potato salad, cheesy corn, coleslaw, or baked beans to something fried and oh so crunchy.

They also serve something called burnt end chili, which sounds like the perfect pair of two of our favorite meals. There’s no way it won’t taste good!

As long as the weather’s nice, dining outdoors where you can smell the smoker is one of the best spots in the house. Er, outside the house.
