Ka Anapali Beach Has Some Of The Clearest Water In Hawaii

The Hawaiian Islands are home to some of the greatest beaches in the world. While we are happy to visit the many incredible beaches and best swimming holes in Hawaii, there are some beaches with warm turquoise waters that are a cut above the rest, from Kauai’s north shore and Oahu’s windward coast to Hawaii Island’s Kealakekua Bay. To discover some of the clearest water in the Aloha State, visit this unparalleled stretch of sand nestled along the coast of Maui.

With three miles of fine, white sand and crystalline turquoise waters, it’s no wonder Ka’anapali was once named the best beach in America and is one of the island’s most popular expanses of sand.

Ka’anapali Beach is backed by a resort community of the same name, Hawaii’s first-ever planned resort. What was once a retreat for Hawaiian royalty is now a popular vacation spot for tourists.

Perfect for sunbathing, long walks along the shore, making a splash with your family, and strapping on your snorkel mask, Ka’anapali is an excellent option for your next Maui beach day.

The waters here are as shallow as they are clear, and you might catch sight of some of the many diverse creatures that call the Pacific Ocean home, including tropical fish. If you visit during the winter months, perhaps you’ll be witness to whales frolicking off the coast.
