Dining out in West Virginia (or anywhere, for that matter) often means popping in your car and heading to an old favorite – a place that’s tried and true, serves delicious food at reasonable prices, and always has the friendliest people around. In Lewisburg, that place is Jim’s Drive In.
The small drive-in, located on Route 60 in Lewisburg, has been open since the start of the 1950s and is a local landmark with its small and ramshackle appearance. (We mean “ramshackle” in the most adoring way possible!)

But locals know it’s not the size of the restaurant that counts at this drive-in. It’s the food and the service! If you really want to sample the best thing on the menu, order up a hot dog smothered in your choice of toppings. Want to spice it up a bit? Get the Sausage Dog, you won’t be disappointed.

Jim’s also has other faves too: the burgers are a full eight ounces and each is hand-patted. Pair your burgers and dogs with their hand-cut fries for a meal you won’t soon forget.

If you can’t decide what to get, just order a little of everything! It’ll soon be delivered right to the comfort of your car. Weather permitting, Jim’s has some outside seating perfect for devouring their iconic burgers and hot dogs.

Don’t forget to pair your food with one of their famous milkshakes. They come in a variety of flavors and are life changing, they’re just that good!
