There are endless trails to follow in Minnesota! At least, it seems that way. All the time, we’re discovering fun hikes that deliver those who explore it to an amazing sight waiting at the end. That’s certainly the case for the phenomenal hike we want to feature today. The Honeymoon Bluff Trail in Grand Marais is short and sweet. But don’t let its length fool you. Every inch of this trail is full of amazing natural scenery – including the spectacular view when you reach the end. Read on to learn about what you’ll see when you hike the Honeymoon Bluff:
Honeymoon Bluff Trail is a gorgeous path through Minnesota’s northern wilderness. Its trailhead is about 30 miles from the beginning of the Gunflint Trail.

This loop trail crosses about a half-mile of the Superior National Forest where it is located.

Though the trail is short, it is somewhat steep. There are sheer cliff drops along some parts, so you’ll want to step lightly and watch out for any young kids in your group.

The forest is full of old trees, lush foliage, and the calls of native birds. You may even catch a glimpse of larger wildlife, though it’s more likely that your eyes will be focused on the stunning nature around you.

You’ll quickly make it to the Honeymoon Bluff overlook, where you’ll find yourself high above Bearskin and Hungry Jack Lakes. The viewing platform will let you take it all in.
