Located in Hamden, Josh’s Jungle is an innovative playground where every kid can have a blast! From seasoned climbers to wobbly toddlers, there is something for all ages and abilities in this fun community for kids.

The synthetic padded surface means there’s less tripping for the little ones and it’s easy for both strollers and wheelchairs to navigate the space. A fence with latched gate circles the area so small children aren’t inspired to stray.

Enjoy the ease of moving from one structure to another on enclosed walkways, ramps, and bridges underneath the jungle trees. There are also stations with games and puzzles for kids who like to stretch both their minds and their legs!

Josh’s Jungle was inspired by Josh Tramontano who uses a wheelchair and wanted a place where all kids could come together to play. His mother, Jennifer, is largely responsible for making sure Josh’s wish came true.
