If you enjoy the fall season and taking family day trips to embrace it, then there’s a magical autumn-themed event that’s happening in Ohio this year that you need to know about. Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield will feature a month-long event called Fall Flicker, featuring a glowing pumpkin path, games food and so much more.
Here’s why this one-of-a-kind event belongs at the top of your Ohio bucket list this fall:
Every October, one of Ohio’s most enchanting gardens transforms into a pumpkin wonderland. This year, Fall Flicker will take place every Thursday and Friday evening in October.

Hundreds and hundreds of pumpkins have been carved and prepared in advance to light up the walking paths—and if you come to carve, you can get free admission.
Kingwood Center Gardens/Facebook Community Pumpkin Carving takes place on the Wednesdays before Fall Flicker from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. You can bring your own pumpkin to carve or carve a provided pumpkin if there’s still a supply.
Fall Flicker will take place on October 3rd, 4th, 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th and 25th this year from 6 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. each evening. You’ll enter the event through the Linden Road gate.

Fall Flicker will feature a lit pumpkin path, Scarecrow Row, the Singing Pumpkins, games, food and more. Each week, there will be a new theme with add-on experiences.

Once the sun sets, the glowing pumpkins will enchant you. Admission for this unique event is $5 per person and children ages 12 and under (and members) are free.
