In addition to the leaves, we’ve got hot apple cider, pumpkin carving and cozy sweaters. Oh, and of course fall hikes! If you meant to tie on your boots this summer but never got around to doing it, it’s not too late! Every week through the end of October, the Squam Lakes Association will be hosting a group hike. This week’s is coming up!
If you want to check out some New Hampshire trails, but aren’t quite confident enough in your ability to strike out on a long one by yourself these organized hikes might be perfect for you.

While this hike is planned for a group, there’s absolutely no pressure to keep up the pace with everyone. If you prefer to move more slowly, that’s great! There’s no guide and no actual “lesson” here so you won’t miss anything if you prefer to stop along the way.
