One of the most spectacular holiday light shows in the state is at Yukon’s Christmas in the Park event. This magical wonderland showcases more than 4.5 million twinkling lights and is set-up for visitors to drive through the park or you walk through it for a more up close and personal experience. Yukon’s Christmas in the Park opens the Saturday before Thanksgiving then runs from 6 to 11 p.m. every night through New Year’s Eve.

Visitors can enjoy all the magic from the comfort of their own vehicle, as they drive along the (almost) three miles of light displays.

On top of the millions of twinkling lights, there are more than 500 one-of-a-kind lighted displays.

The centerpiece of the whole place is the 50-foot lighted Christmas tree. It’s the perfect photo op for the whole family, so bring the phones and capture the moment.

Christmas In The Park is held in three parks: Yukon’s Chisholm Trail, Freedom Trail, and City Park. You can drive part of the way and then park and walk through other parts.

More than 100 acres are decorated for this spectacular event and it’s one of the best light shows in the state. In fact, it’s the largest drive-thru one in the state.

The event is free of charge to walk or drive-thru but there are additional activities that are fee-based, including a Santa Express Train ride.
