Camp 61 Restaurant and Motel is a popular spot in Beaver Bay, Minnesota, along Highway 61. One part of the building dates back to 1937, making it one of the oldest eateries on the North Shore.

Visitors are drawn to the 8 comfortable rooms - each decked out with amenities that will make you happy to spend the night - but there’s another draw, too. The Camp 61 restaurant has great food!

Like we mentioned before, one part of the restaurant dates back to the 1930s. The walls are decked out in interesting memorabilia, including some that harkens back to the logging camps that were once prevalent in the area.

In fact, according to Explore Minnesota, some of the restaurant has been restored with reclaimed wood from those logging camps.
