Crater Lake is one of Oregon’s most treasured gems. It’s the deepest lake in the country, and certainly the most beautiful. A visit to Crater Lake National Park is a magical experience, and you can make it even better by staying overnight at the historic lodge there.
Without a doubt, Crater Lake is the most stunning lake in the world. Its azure waters draw three quarters of a million guests every year, but most just make it a day trip.

The original lodge was pretty simple, with a tar paper exterior and minimal electricity. Throughout the years, the lodge was updated a bit, but it underwent a major renovation in 1991. Some of the original features remain; others are new, but styled to match the early 20th century lodge.
