During Prohibition-era America alcohol was illegal, making it pretty difficult to enjoy a cold-one at the end of a long day like some of us can today. But, humans are inventive and we found a way! Speakeasies offered a place to drink — if you could find them! Also referred to as a blind pig or blind tiger, these spots helped thirsty Americans get through the hard times, one illicit drink at a time. Today, they’re a popular way to remember what life was like back in the 1920s, while also helping us feel a little bit risky! Experience your own version of this at one of our favorite spots in Nashua!
