Holiday trains aren’t exactly few and far between here in Texas, but in our humble opinion, the more, the merrier! Jefferson Railway has a Christmas Express ride that tells the story of Christmas with the help of several dazzling light displays along the way.
Jefferson Railway gives riders the opportunity of a lifetime - riding on an antique 50-year-old steam locomotive. The ride runs along Cypress Bayou and includes seeing historic remains from the 19th century, marveling at native wildlife, and hearing about the small town’s rich history.

First-class tickets are $15, while a seat in coach will cost you $12. Children under four are free in first class, while those under six can ride at no charge in coach.
