Calandra’s Bakery got its start in 1962 when the Newark location opened. Luciano Calandra, an Italian immigrant, worked hard to establish the bakery, and now it’s a thriving business with three locations.

Luciano’s sons joined the business, and today, the Newark location covers 50,000 square feet. The Fairfield location also has authentic Italian pastries…
