If you’ve yet to take a day trip (or week-long trip) to Put-In-Bay, we’re about to give you one more reason to do so. The Butterfly House at Put-In-Bay is arguably the state’s most magical place to play with butterflies. Kids and adults alike are enchanted by this indoor wonderland, which feels like a magical forest.
You’ll take a ferry to Put-In-Bay and head toward the Perry’s Cave Family Fun Center, which is where our magical destination is hiding.

The Butterfly House at Put-in-Bay/Facebook Since 2004, this 4,000 sq. ft. aviary has been delighting Put-In-Bay visitors of all ages. Admission is $8 for adults, $4.50 for kids 6 - 12 and children 5 and under are free.
With more than 50 different types of exotic butterflies, you’ll see butterflies from all around the world here.

Kids will love all the fountains, colors and secret walkways within the aviary. They’ll feel like they’re walking through a real life fairy tale.
