If you love wine, you probably love to try new varieties, but at many restaurants you only have a few by-the-glass wines to choose from. It’s tough to order a whole bottle of something you’re not sure you’ll love, but unless you take a trip to a vineyard, wine tastings in Utah can be few and far between. You need to visit BTG Wine Bar! It has more than 75 different wines, and you can sample all of them.

BTG Wine Bar has been a Salt Lake City staple for years. It moved to its new home in the Eagle Building last summer, and if you haven’t visited yet, you’ve got to see this beautiful new space. You’ll find the entrance on the side of the building to the north.

This beautiful space was long vacant, but now it’s been completely remodeled into a luxurious place to sip wine with your friends.

Many of the historic, architectural details of the building were saved, and other new features were added. This pretty wine bar is definitely a unique gem.

BTG stands for “By The Glass,” and the name perfectly describes the wine menu. While most restaurants offer only a select few varieties by the glass, you can sample every one of the more than 75 wines here one glass at a time.

Wines are offered in two-ounce or five-ounce glasses, or by the bottle. You can also try specially-curated flights of red or white wines.
