One of the best things about Oregon’s coast is that you can enjoy the forest and the beach at the same time. The campground at Beverly Beach is one of the best spots to enjoy both, and you’re going to want to pay it a visit as soon as you can.
You’ll find Beverly Beach State Park about halfway between Newport and Lincoln City. It includes a day-use area, information center, and campground.

The campground is large, with 53 full hook-up sites, 76 sites with electric and water, and 128 tent sites. There’s also a hiker/biker camp and three large, group tent camps.

Though this campground is huge, each site is surrounded by towering trees and lush ferns and plants. Sites include picnic tables and fire rings.

You’ll also find 21 yurts at Beverly Beach Campground. Ten of the sites are pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friend along.

The campground has plenty of amenities, as well. Enjoy restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers, a playground, ranger-led programs and hikes, and a recycling station.

Pick up a bundle of firewood and a bag of ice at the Visitor Information Center, which is staffed by wonderful hosts and volunteers who can give you information about the area and attractions.

The campground is located on the east side of Highway 101, but there’s a convenient path that takes you right under the highway. Grab the kids, put the pup on a leash and head out for a beach adventure.
