But if you happen to be in the Houma area, there’s one neighborhood light show that the whole family will love, and that’s Bayou Blue Dancing Lights.

Bayou Blue is a tiny little unincorporated community just outside of Houma, Louisiana. Every year one house takes Christmas cheer to new levels.

It takes a lot of preparation to get ready for this light show. Luckily, they’ve been doing this every year since 2015, so they have the process down pat.

Countless RGB floodlights and LED lights, about 20 extension cords, and many, many hours of labor of love go into transforming this house.

But when it’s all done, it looks amazing.

The house is located at 145 Gabriel Street in Bayou Blue, Louisiana. It’s always a popular neighborhood attraction, so it’s not uncommon to see a line of cars up to the house.

The dazzling light show runs every night from dusk until 10 p.m. and will run until New Year’s Day.

While the light show itself is mesmerizing, you’ll want to tune your car radio to 107.1 FM, as the entire show is set to music!

The whole house will transform into a beautiful rainbow of colors set to Christmas music.
