As we gear up for the Halloween season, you may begin to wonder what types of unique attractions you can go out and experience here in Western New York. All throughout the year, the Arcade & Attica Railroad offers a variety of themed train rides that will get you up and out of your Buffalo seats and heading out to this small-town attraction.

Now that fall is upon us and we’ve reached the month of October, the railroad starts to feature things like their Fall Foliage and Ale & Cider Tasters train rides that are a huge hit.

Those aren’t the only themed train rides that take place during October though. Later this month, Arcade & Attica will host their annual Halloween Haunted Express train ride.

On Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th, the railroad will feature Haunted Halloween train rides at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Departing from the town of Arcade’s Main Street, you’ll make your way to Curriers Station - the train ride’s halfway point during this two and a half hour long excursion.

Along the way, you’ll get to listen to spooky and fun Halloween music, while the train ride has also been known to host some slightly hair-raising passengers on board like actual Creepy Critters!

Once the train reaches Curriers Station, you’ll get out for 45 minutes to enjoy all the different Halloween activities that are set up.

Passengers are encouraged to show up in their costumes, giving you the ultimate excuse to dress up just a few days before the actual holiday.
