During the holiday season, the Baton Rouge Zoo transforms into an enchanting display featuring all your favorite zoo animals. BREC’S Baton Rouge ZooLights makes for an ideal evening strolling around checking out all the beautiful Christmas lights, so be sure to mark your calendar!

Established in 1970, the Baton Rouge Zoo is a fun-filled zoo where people of all ages get the chance to connect with animals.

ZooLights kicks off Friday, November 29, 2019 and promises to be the highlight of the season.

ZooLights is a mile long trail through the zoo with more than 50 illuminated display sculptures.

Along your stroll, you’ll encounter larger-than-life displays of all your favorite animals like flamingos, giraffes, elephants, and more. Some of the displays can be up to 30 feet tall!

In addition to the illuminated sculptures, there will also be several animated displays that the little ones will love.

Admission is only $5 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. If you bring a non-perishable food item, your tickets are half off! Items will be donated to the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
