Kansas has plenty of random weather changes and severe weather events, but for the most part, it’s winter as usual. When it’s wintertime in Kansas, it seems like all the oddities come out to say hello. Whether it’s someone hoarding all the bread and milk or someone not dressed for the weather, here’s a few things you’ll see during a typical Kansas winter. Have you seen all of them before?
- Someone wearing non-snow shoes clearly in snow.

- Conversely, someone wearing snow gear when it’s only 50 degrees out.

- Too many wrecks on icy roads.

- Even in months it’s supposed to be spring, ice storms and power outages.
