Many popular restaurants come and go in Kentucky and there are definitely more than a few that we wish would find their way back into our lives. Perhaps there is a restaurant from your younger years that you used to love, but then closed its doors and you’ve been craving it ever since. If that’s the case for you and a famous Kaelin’s cheeseburger, then you’re in luck. Unofficially known as the “birthplace of the cheeseburger,” Kaelin’s Restaurant was a family favorite for generations. And now 80/20 at Kaelin’s in Kentucky is open and ready for you to come relive those memories and satisfy those long-running cravings.

Kaelin’s Restaurant dates back to 1934 when it first opened in Louisville and it continued as an area favorite for over 70 years.
