Chris Poole - AllTrails The Percy Warner Paved Trail is located in, yes, the ever-popular Percy Warner Park. It’s a loop trail, and at just under 6 miles you’ll definitely earn a massive lunch. Bring your dogs on a leash and your kids with a mindful eye, and keep in mind that this is a great stroller friendly space. From road biking to long, leisurely walks, the paved trail is great for a lazy weekend morning.

Jon Rice - AllTrails Rogers Walk Trail is located at the Ellington Agricultural Center, in south Nashville. It’s an easy walk, stretching only 2.4 miles along the loop route, and most folks love it for the dog privileges! As long as they’re on a leash, feel free to bring human’s best friend! This is a great spot for kids, as well.

  1. Two Rivers Greenway Trail

Arlene KM - AllTrails The Two Rivers Greenway Trail is 15 (!!!) whopping miles in its entirety, but most folks just wander out on the trail a hot second then make their way back. It’s best used from February to November, and especially lends itself to biking and walking on the partially paved roadway.

Stacy User - AllTrails Mossy Ridge Trail is located in Percy Warner Park. It remains one of the most popular hiking trails in the city, and operates as an almost 5 mile loop. Great for hiking, leaf peeping, running and dog walking, it comes highly recommended by folks of all ages.

Tom Beckermann - AllTrails Considered an “easy” trail on AllTrails, Bells Bend Loop is an incredibly quiet and rural trail that boasts river views and dog privileges. Both kid friendly and set up as a loop, you can take in all the beauty of a trail close to Nashville without all of the crowds. You’ll gain roughly 200 feet of elevation, and the entire trail clocks in at 4.4 miles.

Liz Blank - AllTrails Bryant Grove Trail is definitely more moderate, and is located in Long Hunter State Park. An out-and-back trail, it covers 8 miles in total. The views of the lake, wildflower fields and expansive forest is a plus, as well as the fact that the trail is operational all year ‘round. No need to take a break! Keep in mind, however, that it’s not a trail meant for dogs. Fido, unfortunately, will have to stay home.
