Christmas time in Ohio is special. Whether you’re here every year for the season, or you simply find yourself back in town for the Christmas holiday to visit family, you know nothing beats a Christmas surrounded by the people you love in the state you (knowingly or unknowingly) love. The following are 7 holiday traditions nearly every Ohioan can relate to:

  1. Always keep a slight sliver of hope that it could snow on Christmas…

  1. Pile into the car with family to ride around and look at Christmas lights.

  1. Make (and eat) tons of candy buckeyes.

  1. Tour the “A Christmas Story” House.

  1. Take the family to Castle Noel.

  1. Take a stroll through your local zoo.

  1. Make time for those that matter most.
